IEDC & ED Club Orientation on 05-08-2025

The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC) and Entrepreneurship Development (ED) Club of MES Asmabi College organized a vibrant Orientation Programme on 5th August 2025 at 1.30 pm in the College Auditorium. The session was aimed at introducing the activities and vision of the IEDC and ED Club to the newly inducted student members from the first and second-year classes. The programme began with a lively and interactive ice-breaking session that helped create a friendly atmosphere and encouraged active participation among the students.

The orientation featured presentations by key student leaders who currently lead various roles within the IEDC structure. Aparna Raj (Student Lead I – II BBA Honours), Devi Sreelakshmi A Shelley (Finance Lead – II B.Sc. Aquaculture), Gopika T (Marketing Lead – II B.Sc. Aquaculture), and Anaswara S (Community Lead – II B.Sc. Aquaculture) served as the resource persons. They shared their personal experiences and insights on entrepreneurial development, innovation opportunities, and team collaboration. Their inspiring talks helped the students understand the importance of innovation, leadership, and teamwork in campus-based entrepreneurial activities.

The programme was held under the leadership of the Principal, Dr. Sanand Sadananda Kumar, and was well-coordinated by IEDC Nodal Officers Dr. Princy Francis and Dr. Dhanya P R, along with ED Club Coordinators Dr. Shyla Hameed and Ms. Ujjwala Navas. Aparna Raj and Shamil T P served as the IEDC Student Coordinators. The orientation ended on a high note with enthusiastic feedback from the participants, who expressed keen interest in being part of upcoming IEDC and ED Club initiatives
