INNOVATION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT CENTRE (IEDC) @ ASMABI

The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centres (IEDC) in Kerala, launched in 2014 under the Kerala Startup Mission, are instrumental in fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship across educational institutions in the state. These centers aim to transform young minds into successful entrepreneurs by providing them with the necessary resources, training, and mentorship. IEDCs in Kerala create an environment conducive to idea generation and startup incubation, bridging the gap between academic knowledge and real-world application. Organizing various programs, workshops, and competitions inspires students to think creatively and pursue entrepreneurial ventures, significantly contributing to the state's growing startup ecosystem. Constituted in 2021, the IEDC at MES Asmabi College is dedicated to uncovering the innovative ideas of students and mainstreaming socially significant concepts. The center offers a robust platform for students to develop and refine their business ideas, supported by access to experienced mentors, industry experts, and potential investors. Through initiatives such as hackathons, innovation challenges, and startup boot camps, the IEDC at MES Asmabi College encourages students to transform their innovative ideas into viable business solutions. By fostering collaboration with industry partners and leveraging the expertise of the academic community, the IEDC at MES Asmabi College plays a crucial role in nurturing future leaders and innovators, driving personal and professional growth

ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT CLUB @ ASMABI

Entrepreneurship Development Clubs (EDCs) of Kerala, stand as beacons of innovation and ambition, nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit among students. These clubs serve as incubators where budding entrepreneurs can transform ideas into tangible ventures, fostering a culture of innovation and enterprise. EDCs provide a platform for students to cultivate crucial skills beyond the classroom. EDCs encourage students to think critically, skill development, take initiative, and embrace risk-taking and inspire creativity and resilience, essential qualities for any aspiring entrepreneur. As Kerala continues to embrace entrepreneurship as a key driver of development, these clubs will undoubtedly play a pivotal role in shaping a brighter future for the state and beyond. Since 2013 M.E.S. Asmabi College's Entrepreneurship Development (ED) Club is a dynamic catalyst for entrepreneurial growth and innovation among its students. Through a diverse array of activities including workshops, seminars, and industry interactions and mentorship programs conducted by seasoned professionals and successful entrepreneurs, the club empowers students with practical skills and knowledge essential for venturing into the business world. It serves as a nurturing ground where ideas are incubated into viable business plans, fostering a culture of creativity and entrepreneurship. By organizing competitions and business challenges, the club not only encourages students to think critically but also prepares them to tackle real-world challenges with confidence. With a commitment to bridging theory with practice, the ED Club at M.E.S. Asmabi College plays a crucial role in empowering the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers, equipping them with the tools and mindset to create sustainable businesses and contribute meaningfully to the society.
