INNOVATION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT CENTRE (IEDC) @ ASMABI
The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centres (IEDC) in Kerala, launched in 2014 under the Kerala Startup Mission, are instrumental in fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship across educational institutions in the state. These centers aim to transform young minds into successful entrepreneurs by providing them with the necessary resources, training, and mentorship. IEDCs in Kerala create an environment conducive to idea generation and startup incubation, bridging the gap between academic knowledge and real-world application. Organizing various programs, workshops, and competitions inspires students to think creatively and pursue entrepreneurial ventures, significantly contributing to the state's growing startup ecosystem. Constituted in 2021, the IEDC at MES Asmabi College is dedicated to uncovering the innovative ideas of students and mainstreaming socially significant concepts. The center offers a robust platform for students to develop and refine their business ideas, supported by access to experienced mentors, industry experts, and potential investors. Through initiatives such as hackathons, innovation challenges, and startup boot camps, the IEDC at MES Asmabi College encourages students to transform their innovative ideas into viable business solutions. By fostering collaboration with industry partners and leveraging the expertise of the academic community, the IEDC at MES Asmabi College plays a crucial role in nurturing future leaders and innovators, driving personal and professional growth
