The post graduate and research department of English, MES Asmabi College, P Vemballur, Kodungallur conducted a one day national seminar on ‘Research Methodology in English Studies’ on 20th June 2022 at 10.30 am in the seminar hall. Dr M Ashitha Varghese, Assistant Professor of English, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore served as the resource person of the seminar. The speaker emphasised on the methodology to be adopted for pursuing research from various viewpoints. She presented various case studies as illustrations. Dr Reena Mohamed, head of the department of English and Dr Amitha P Mani, the coordinator of the seminar delivered the welcome speech and vote of thanks respectively. The proceeding of the last national seminar conducted by the department was released by the resource person.
