III yr Aquaculture students took an excursion to Wayanad from 24th to 26th March 2022. The department regularly organizes the Educational Tour and Excursion with the objective of learning through outdoor experiences.with each other and develop inter- personal skills beyond the classroom boundaries. During the three day tour the students visited various hill stations in Wayanad. The trip included trekking to Kurumbalakkotta Hills, Banasura Sagar Dam, Pookkode lake, Soochippara falls and Edakkal Cave. Camp fire was arranged in the hotel were they stayed on 25th of March. On the way back the students visited Kozhikkode beach and had shopping at SM Street, Kozhikkode. The team reached back at college in the early morning of 27th March 2021. Ms. Athira Venu, former guest faculty in Zoology accompanied the students along with Dr. Kesavan K, class tutor of the batch.
