Department of Psychology , MES Asmabi college conducted a study tour to CDMRP University of Calicut. CDMRP is an unique extension center of Department of Psychology, University of Calicut . CDMRP aims to provides comprehensive, evidence based disability management and rehabilitation services to children with developmental disabilities through community approach. Dr. Manikandan Associate Professor, HoD department of Psychology and Director of CDMRP gave a session regarding the responsibilities of a psychologist in community setting.Mr. Mishab A K , Clinical Psychologist and Joint Director of CDMRP conducted a session regarding different Developmental Disorders and techniques for early detection. the training program for students was conducted by the rehabilitation Psychologist working in CDMRP, After the group discussion and detailed case workup the students was given guided visit to each sections in CDMRP Clinical setting.
