The students and faculty members of department of psychology has visited Mental Health Action Trust (MHAT), Calicut from 26th December 2021 to 28th December 2021. MHAT is a Charitable Trust, based in Kozhikode, Kerala, India and provides good quality, comprehensive and recovery oriented mental health care to the poorest sections of the population with severe mental disorders. On the first day students had an interactive session with Dr. Rekha P, clinical psychologist (MHAT). Several people who have recovered or are undergoing treatments in MHAT also shared their valuable experiences. On the second day students got an opportunity to meet Dr Manoj Kumar, Consultant Psychiatrist , founder and Managing Director of MHAT. On the third day Students and faculty members has visited one of MHAT's community clinic at Koduvally, Calicut "The Phoenix Pain and Palliative care center".
