As part of the International Conference on Advanced Materials for Innovation and Sustainability (ICAMIS 2026), the PG Department of Physics, MES Asmabi College, organized a Pre-Conference Workshop on “How to Present a Research Paper” on 21 January 2026 at 9:30 a.m. in the Computer Lab. The workshop was organized with the objective of equipping graduates and postgraduate students with essential skills for effective research paper presentation in national and international conferences. The session focused on improving clarity, confidence, and professionalism in academic presentations. During the workshop, participants were guided on structuring a research presentation, designing effective slides, presenting experimental results clearly, and handling questions during paper presentations. Emphasis was also given to common mistakes to avoid, time management, and techniques to communicate complex scientific ideas effectively. The programme was conducted under the leadership of Dr. Sameena K, Principal, with the support of Ms. Soumya S, Head of the PG Department of Physics. The workshop was coordinated by Dr. Ebitha Eqbal and Arya P Mohanan. The workshop successfully enhanced the participants’ preparedness for presenting their research at ICAMIS 2026 and other academic forums.
