As part of the Discere Higher Education Expo, the Department of Physics, MES Asmabi College, organized a highly engaging and educational exhibition showcasing the wonders of physics through interactive demonstrations and innovative exhibits on 22 and 23 October 2025. The event aimed to ignite scientific curiosity among students and provide hands-on exposure to various physical phenomena. The centerpiece of the exhibition was titled “Cosmic Voyage: A Journey through the Universe”, which offered a captivating exploration of space and celestial phenomena. A meticulously designed hanging solar system model and a recreated universe exhibit allowed visitors to visualize the scale, structure, and dynamics of the cosmos, inspiring awe and interest in astronomy and astrophysics. Another major attraction was “Optifusion”, a unique collection of experiments that demonstrated the fascinating interplay of light and sound. This section included exhibits such as the Infinite Well, Head on the Platter, Water Cymatics, 3D hologram projector and the Ultrasonic Mist Maker, each offering a visually striking representation of fundamental physical principles. In addition to these thematic exhibits, the Department also presented certain general physics experiments covering a wide range of core topics. These experiments demonstrated key physical phenomena such as interference, diffraction, dispersion, angular momentum, magnetic levitation, and other fundamental concepts that form the backbone of classical and modern physics. Faculty members and student volunteers provided clear explanations, ensuring that visitors could grasp both the theoretical and practical aspects of each experiment. The exhibition drew an overwhelming response, with over 500 students from various schools across the region visiting the stalls. The young visitors actively interacted with the demonstrators, asked insightful questions, and expressed keen interest in pursuing science at higher levels of study. Overall, the
