The Department of Fish Processing Technology enthusiastically joined the college-wide Onam celebrations and also conducted department-level programmes exclusively for the students. The celebrations were marked by vibrant participation, with students dressed in customized traditional attire that highlighted the cultural spirit of the occasion. The event began at 9.30 am with ‘pookkalam’ competition where students showcased their creativity and teamwork through intricate floral designs. In addition, students from the department participated in various competitions organized by the college as part of the festive programme. Department faculties also participated in the competitions arranged for the staff. adding to the spirit of festivity and healthy competition. One of the highlights of the celebration was the ‘Onam Sadya’, arranged in the department. The traditional feast brought together students and faculties, creating a sense of unity and shared joy. The atmosphere throughout the day was filled with laughter, cultural pride, and festive cheer.
