On the occasion of International Moon Day, the Department of Physics, MES Asmabi College, P. Vemballur conducted an inter-departmental quiz competition on 21st July 2025 at Old Seminar Hall. The programme coordinators were Dr. Ebitha Eqbal and Ms. Arya P Mohanan. The main aim was to celebrate humankind’s achievement in lunar exploration and to promote scientific curiosity among students. The programme was inaugurated by the principal Dr. Sanand C Sadanandan who highlighted the significance of International Moon Day in commemorating the Apollo 11 Moon landing and inspiring future space science enthusiasts. Thirty teams  from various departments participated in the quiz competition. There were three engaging rounds. Rounds included Lunar exploration, visual identification rounds etc. Based on the score, first , second and third prize winners were declared.
