The Department of Physics, MES Asmabi College, P. Vemballur, organized the FYUGP Orientation Programme for the first-year B.Sc. Physics students on 23rd July 2025 at 10:30 a.m. in the Physics Laboratory. The session was handled by Dr. Ebitha Eqbal, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics. The orientation aimed to familiarize the students with the structure and objectives of the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP) in Physics, curriculum details, laboratory facilities, academic expectations, and available support systems. Dr. Ebitha Eqbal provided valuable insights into the course design, skill development opportunities, and the significance of research and co-curricular activities in shaping the students’ academic journey. The interactive session encouraged students to clarify their doubts and understand the scope of Physics in higher studies and career prospects.
