The Department of Botany organized an Idea Hackathon on 4th July 2025 with the objective of encouraging innovation, creativity, and scientific temper among students. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from undergraduate and postgraduate students, who presented novel and practical ideas that integrated biological concepts with modern technology and sustainability. The hackathon was inaugurated by the Dr. Girija TP, Head of the Department, who emphasized the importance of ideation in addressing environmental and societal challenges. A panel of faculty members evaluated the presentations based on originality, feasibility, impact, and clarity.
