As part of the BIS Standard Club initiatives, two students — Fahima Jabin and Devika P.B — represented the department of Fish Processing Technology in a one-day field visit to Southern Union Pharmaceuticals, Thrissur. The visit provided the students with valuable exposure to quality standards and regulatory practices followed in the pharmaceutical industry. It was an enriching experience that enhanced their understanding of how Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) guidelines are implemented in real-time manufacturing and quality control environments.
