In observance of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, the students of the Department of Fish Processing Technology  at M.E.S. Asmabi College actively participated in an Anti-Drug Pledge during the first hour of the academic day. The initiative was held as part of the Anti-Drug Campaign promoted by the College Protection Group under Thrissur Rural Police, with the objective of creating awareness among students about the grave consequences of drug abuse. The pledge-taking ceremony served as a powerful reminder of the importance of staying vigilant and responsible, especially among youth, in the fight against substance abuse. Through this collective effort, the students affirmed their commitment to leading a drug-free life and encouraging their peers to do the same. The event not only strengthened the students' understanding of the societal impact of drug abuse but also emphasized the role they can play as change-makers in building a healthy, safe, and responsible community.
