The webinar was conducted by the Department of Psychology, as part of day observation of Suicide prevention. The session was led by Mr. Lathif Penath, Student Counsellor & HoD, Dept of Psychology, MES Asmabi College, P. Vemballur. The session started with welcome speech by Ms. Shahija V.A, Asst.Prof, Research Department of Commerce. The aim of the webinar was to evaluate the various reasons that a person decides to take their life. To make aware the general population to not to avoid any early warning signs. Through the session, the resource person tried to portray how in some cases the suicide notes can be warning signs. He also tried to show how the suicidal notes are being romanticized. It was a very informative session
