On 12th July 2025, the ED Club Coordinator of MES Asmabi College participated in the District-Level Meeting of Entrepreneurship Development (ED) Clubs, held at the District Industries Department, Ayyanthole, Thrissur. The event was organized as part of an awareness programme on the Campus Industrial Park initiative, a progressive plan launched by the Government of Kerala to empower college students through on-campus industrial exposure. The programme witnessed the active participation of over 50 ED Club Coordinators and Student Coordinators from various institutions across the district. The session served as an informative platform to understand the roles and functioning of ED Clubs within higher education institutions, emphasizing their importance in nurturing an entrepreneurial mindset among students. A key highlight of the programme was an insightful session led by an official from the Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM). The official shed light on methods to generate innovative business ideas, the scope of government-backed support for transforming these ideas into ventures, and various grant schemes and funding opportunities available for student entrepreneurs. Overall, the meeting proved to be highly beneficial in enhancing the understanding of ED Club operations and in exploring the potential of Campus Industrial Parks as a dynamic interface between academia and industry.
