The webinar was conducted by the Department of Psychology, as part of day observation of Suicide prevention. The session was led by Mr. Jawad T.P, Clinical Psychologist. The session started with a welcome speech by Mr. Lathif Penath. The session was inaugurated by Sri. Salim Arakkal, Secretary & correspondent, MES Asmabi college. Presidential address was given by Dr. A Biju, Principal, MES Amabi College. Dr. K.P Sumedhan , Director, Self Financing Departments, MES Asmabi college, has extended felicitation to the session. The session tried to evaluate the role of social media and its usage in influencing human minds also tried to enlighten the general population on how social media desensitizes and romanticizes the concept of suicide. The session was an insightful one.
