On October 28, 2024, a group of 54 students, accompanied by two teachers from the Logistics Management Department, visited CIASL Academy in Nedumbassery, Kochi, for an industrial visit. The session focused on import and export processes, providing students with valuable insights into international trade regulations and logistics management. During the visit, students had the opportunity to explore an airport warehouse, where they observed real-time cargo handling operations, storage procedures, and customs clearance processes. This hands-on experience helped students understand the complexities of logistics operations in an airport setting and enhanced their practical knowledge in supply chain management. Overall, the industrial visit was highly informative and beneficial for students, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and industry practices.
