The Research Departments of Botany, in association with English, Commerce and IQAC of MES Asmabi College successfully organized a two-day Annual Research Conclave and international Conference on Climate Change and Sustainable societies, which served as a platform for academic discussions and knowledge sharing. The seminar, held on 21st and 22nd January 2025 at MES Asmabi College, focused on interdisciplinary research and its relevance in addressing global challenges. The event was graced by the presence of the distinguished resource person, Dr. Joby Paul, Assistant Professor, Department of Botany, St. Thomas College, Thrissur. Sir delivered an insightful keynote address, setting the tone for the seminar. His expertise and engaging presentation inspired the attendees, providing valuable perspectives on the seminar's theme. A significant highlight of the seminar was the active participation of research scholars, who presented their papers on diverse topics across disciplines. The presentations showcased innovative ideas, critical analyses, and research findings, fostering an enriching academic environment. Adding to the seminar's success, three faculty members from the Research Department of Botany chaired the sessions. Their guidance and constructive feedback enhanced the quality of discussions and provided the presenters with valuable insights to refine their research. The seminar concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the resource person, faculty, research scholars, and participants for their contributions to the event's success. The two-day seminar was a remarkable step toward fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and advancing academic excellence
