The ED Club Coordinator represented MES Asmabi College in a meeting organized by the District Industries Centre (DIC), Thrissur, held at the District Collector's Cabin on 28th February, 2025. The meeting witnessed the participation of 25 campus representatives from various colleges across the district. The objective of the meeting was to create awareness about the Kerala State Government’s new initiative — the Campus Industrial Park. This initiative is aimed at utilizing the unused land available within higher education institutions to establish industrial parks. The program envisions a model where students can benefit from on-the-job training and gain industry experience within their own campus premises. Through this initiative, students will not only gain practical exposure in their respective fields but will also have opportunities for placement in various industrial sectors. This approach is expected to bridge the gap between academia and industry, making students industry-ready by the time they graduate. The meeting concluded with an interactive session where representatives shared suggestions and clarified their doubts regarding the implementation of the project.
