Report on Idea Pitching Competition on Space Tourism As part of the Space Week celebration organized by the Department of Physics at MES Asmabi College on 8 August 2023, an Idea Pitching Competition on Space Tourism after 50 years was held. The event attracted enthusiastic participation from 13 students, showcasing their innovative ideas and visions for the future of space tourism. Event Highlights: Format: Each participant was given 5-7 minutes to pitch their idea, followed by a Q&A session with the judges. Judging Criteria: The ideas were evaluated based on originality, feasibility, presentation skills, and the potential impact on the future of space tourism. Ideas Presented: The pitches covered a wide range of concepts, from affordable space travel packages to eco-friendly spacecraft designs and the creation of space habitats for tourists. Outcome: The competition was highly successful, with all participants demonstrating remarkable creativity and understanding of the subject. The judges praised the students for their innovative thinking and the potential real-world applications of their ideas.
