Report on Space Week Celebration(8-14 August 2024)   Date: 8 August 2023 Venue: Department of Physics, MES Asmabi College As a part of Space Week celebration, The Department of Physics, MES Asmabi College successfully organized a AI-based digital poster-making competition on 8 August 2023. The event aimed to spark students' interest in space science and technology while also providing them with an opportunity to explore and express their creativity. Event Details: The celebration featured an AI-based digital poster-making competition on the theme “Touching lives while touching the moon”, which attracted enthusiastic participation from students across various departments. Thirteen students in all demonstrated their artistic abilities by producing creative and eye-catching digital posters that explored the themes of astronomy, space exploration, and the wonders of the cosmos. Each participant's poster was evaluated based on originality, creativity, technical skills, and relevance to the theme. Winners: The competition was judged by a panel of esteemed faculty members from the college, who had a challenging task of selecting the best posters from the impressive entries. The winners were announced as follows: First Place: Mohammed Jasim , III BSc Physics Second Place: Hasna P A, III BSc Botany Third Place: Shifamol P A, II BSc Botany The event concluded with a brief speech by the Head of the Department, who commended the participants for their efforts and encouraged them to continue exploring the fascinating world of space science.
