On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of independence, the Government of India has launched the National Intellectual Property Awareness Mission (NIPAM) to create widespread awareness on IPR, in association with Intellectual property office. As a part of this, PG and research Department of botany, IPR Cell of MES Asmabi College, KSCSTE and Intellectual Property Office, Chennai jointly organized an online awareness program on IPR for the PG and UG students and faculties at 11 am to 12 pm on 14 th February 2022. The section was handled by Smt. Anjana Haridas (Examiner of Patents and Designs Indian Patent Office Chennai) She presented her topic under the little "Intellectual Property Rights".
