Overview of academic, extracurricular, behavioral aspects will be analyzed were intimated to parents. ● HOD, Dr. Dhanya. K informed about attendance and addressed the importance of maintaining regular attendance and staying attentive in class. She also discussed strategies on how to manage class time effectively to enhance learning outcomes. ● Tutors explained the overall performance of students, highlighting key areas of strength and areas needing improvement. This gave parents a comprehensive understanding of their child's academic progress. ● Parents shared suggestions for improving the learning experience. HOD welcomed and accepted all the suggestions ● The result analysis of the fifth semester internal examination was presented, with a focus on performance trends and areas requiring attention. This provided insights into student performance and possible areas for improvement. ● Parents of slow learners and students facing difficulties were advised to provide extra support at home. The reasons most commonly cited by students for their academic challenge is limited time to prepare adequately for exams. REPORT ON STUDY TRIP Exploring India’s Economic Landscape: A Study Tour to Delhi and Amritsar by MES Asmabi College Economics Department Introduction The study tour organized by the Economics Department of MES Asmabi College aimed to provide an enriching educational experience for final-year students. The tour was planned to two major cities—Delhi and Amritsar—from December 7 to December 16, 2024. The primary objective was to expose students to a wide range of economic, historical, and cultural aspects that are relevant to their studies. Objectives of the Study Trip Page 2 of 4  To enhance the understanding of the Indian economy through site visits to government offices, industries, and financial institutions.  To explore historical and cultural landmarks, understanding their economic significance.  To give students a firsthand experience of urban and rural economic systems.  To analyze the impact of tourism on the economy in major cities like Delhi and Amritsar.  To foster academic collaboration and teamwork among final-year students. Learning Outcomes  Economic Systems: The students gained a deep understanding of the Indian economic system, especially the role of government institutions like the RBI, NITI Aayog, and agricultural institutions.  Industrialization and Agriculture: Students were able to compare the economic significance of industrialization in Delhi with the agricultural economy of Punjab, analyzing the challenges and opportunities faced by both sectors.  Cultural Economics: The impact of tourism on local economies was understood in the context of both Delhi and Amritsar, where cultural landmarks contribute significantly to the economic well-being of the regions.  Social Responsibility and Economic Growth: Visits to religious institutions like the Golden Temple showcased the blend of philanthropy and local economic activity, emphasizing the importance of community-driven eco
