Report on Industrial Visit to MASCO Tea Factory, Kannankulam, Kottayam On November 12, 2024, students of II B.Com Cooperation, MES Asmabi College, accompanied by Ms. Chithra P, HoD of the Research Department of Commerce, and Dr. Princy Francis, Assistant Professor and Class Tutor, embarked on an industrial visit to MASCO Tea Factory, Kannankulam, Kottayam. A total of 54 students participated in this educational trip, aimed at providing practical insights into tea production and quality control processes. The visit offered a unique opportunity to observe the entire tea production cycle, from plucking to packaging, which helped the students understand the intricacies of the industry. The experience was not only informative but also interactive, as students engaged in discussions and shared their observations. Following the factory tour, the group visited Thangalpara, a culturally and historically significant location, where they learned about its importance and enjoyed the serene environment. The exploration continued to the Pine Forest, a picturesque retreat, where the tranquil setting provided a perfect end to the day. This industrial visit was a blend of learning and leisure, offering valuable insights into industrial practices while fostering camaraderie among students. It emphasized the importance of teamwork, hands-on learning, and appreciating the beauty of nature.
