Natinal Science Day 2025 Date:28-02-2025 Coordinators-Ummu Habeeba.K                        Dr.Jisha.K.C The Research Department of Botany in association with Bhoomithrasena club and Science Forum,MES Asmabi College, P.Vemballur observed National Science day 2025 on 28th February 2024. In connection with this an invited talk was organized . Dr. Udayan P.S, Senior Consultant, NMPB-RCFC(SR), KFRI,Peechi was the resource person. The speaker gave an insightful talk on the pros and cons of Science. The resource person shared his concern about the future and existence of human beings on earth. He highlighted the major environmental issues like pollution,global warming, uncontrolled use of natural resources, Human animal conflict etc. As the concluding note the resource person shared some suggestions to conserve biodiversity and sustainable use of natural resources. BSc and Msc students  and faculty from the Department of Botany participated in the programme. Programme started with a welcome address by Dr.Girija.T.P, HoD,Department of Botany at 10.30 A.M and ended with a vote thanks to the resource person and all the participants at 12.00 P.M.
