As part of the curriculum for third-semester students in the Department of Aquaculture, a field visit was conducted to the Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (ICAR-CMFRI), Kochi, on 19th November 2024. The primary objective of the visit was to provide students with practical exposure to advanced research methodologies and technologies in marine fisheries and aquaculture. The visit also included an excursion to the Mangalavanam Bird Sanctuary to enhance ecological awareness.
