The Department of Physics at MES Asmabi College organized a field visit to Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), Thiruvananthapuram, on 22 July 2025. This visit aimed to provide students with insights into India’s advancements in space technology and to inspire them to explore career opportunities in the field of space science. 16 Final year BSc Physics students and two faculty members participated in the programme. The students explored the VSSC Museum, which showcases India's remarkable achievements in space technology. They observed models of satellites, rockets, and launch vehicles, along with exhibits detailing the evolution of space exploration in India. The interactive displays provided a deeper understanding of the scientific principles and technological innovations behind space missions.
