The officials aimed to evaluate the progress of the ecorestoration projects being implemented within the Panchayat’s jurisdiction. Various ecorestoration activities are done in the panchayat with technical guidance and support from the CETC Hornbill Foundation. The MES Asmabi campus has been serving as a hub for these efforts, hosting vital facilities such as the riparian nursery and a nursery for threatened plant species. The team visited Riparian Nursery, Coastal Ecorestoration Nursery, Threatned Species Germination Centre, Medicinal Garden.  The team has been guded by Dr. Amitha Bachan KH. The prsident of the Grama Panchayaht, Ms. MS Mohanan, officially announced the news of state level award for BMC SN Puram which was materialesed with tehcnical support of CEtC of Hornbill Foundation and Dr. Amitha Bachan.
