On September 13, 2024, Centre for Ecology Taxonomy Conservation and Climate change (CEtC) of Western Ghats Hornbill Foundation in collaboration with Biodiversity Management Committee (BMC) of the Sree Narayanapuram Panchayat organized a workshop aimed at equipping volunteers with the skills and knowledge required for the preparation of a Strategy Action Plan. The event was inaugurated by E.T. Tyson, Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA), kaipamanglam. Dr. Reena Mohammed, Principal of MES Asmabi College, graced the occasion as the chief guest.  The Community members conserving the agor biodiversity were honoured by BMC sreenarayana puram  All the 27 women involved in the Ecorestoration program was honoured with new clothing “Onapudava”, a traditional custom as part of the onam festival in Kerala. The gifts for the women were supported by Western Ghats Hornbill Foundation. The trainng was condicted by Mr. Febin Francis, District Coordinator, Kerala State Biodiversity Board and Dr, Amitha Bachan KH, Director, CEtC
