On 21 June 2024, a comprehensive field-based training program was conducted by CEtC hornbill foundation and Research department of Botany for the postgraduate students of the Department of Botany. This training was specifically designed for students undertaking their final-year projects in the domains of ecology and taxonomy. The session was led by Dr. Amitha Bachan K. H., Assistant Professor, Department of Botany. The training session took place in the Vazhachal Rainforest, a biodiversity hotspot known for its rich and varied flora and fauna. The pristine environment served as an ideal outdoor classroom for students to gain hands-on experience in fieldwork and data collection techniques.
