Department of Fish Processing Technology organized two days training programme on “Food Safety” in association with Cresco Safe– food consultants. The training session started by 10.00 am on 22nd of July, 2024.  The training was conveyed in 15 modules in which the major portions covered are:  food safety, Hazards, Legal requirements and implementation of food safety measures, Hazard analysis and control measures, monitoring and verification systems in food industry, preparation of standard operating procedures and the record keeping. As per the feedback of the participants, the session was very much useful, comprehensive and well-structured. Suggestions include frequent and advanced trainings on specific food safety practices.
