The National Workshop on Empirical Publishing in Social Science Research: From Concept to Journal Page, organized by the Research Department of Commerce at MES Asmabi College in association with IQAC and NDLI Club, took place on February 24, 2024. Dr. Ajay Joseph, Assistant Professor of Commerce from Bharata Mata College, Thrikkakara, served as the resource person, offering valuable insights into the intricacies of publishing empirical research in the social sciences. The program commenced with a warm welcome speech by Dr. Princy Francis, who also coordinated the event. Ms. Chithra P, Head of Department, delivered the presidential address, emphasizing the significance of scholarly publishing in advancing academic excellence. Dr. Reena Muhammed, Vice Principal, delivered the keynote address, highlighting the importance of empirical research in social science disciplines. Ms. Deepa K was felicitated for her contributions, and the event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Aswathy C R, expressing gratitude to all participants and contributors for making the workshop a success.
