On September 23, 2023, NSS Unit 95 from MES Asmabi College undertook the plantation of tree saplings at Mathilakam Police Station. This green initiative was aimed at enhancing the environmental quality of the area, promoting biodiversity, and contributing to the broader goal of environmental conservation. The volunteers, alongside police personnel, planted a variety of native tree saplings, carefully selected for their adaptability and ecological benefits. This collaborative effort not only improved the aesthetic appeal of the police station premises but also underscored the importance of greenery in urban spaces.
