On August 15, 2023, the NSS volunteers of MES Asmabi College conducted a tree plantation drive in SN Puram Panchayath, where 75 tree saplings were planted at various public places. The drive was inaugurated at PHC, Almavu. This initiative was part of the college's efforts to celebrate Independence Day by contributing to environmental conservation and promoting greenery in the community. The event saw active participation from the local residents and panchayath officials, who supported the cause and helped identify suitable locations for the saplings. The diverse selection of saplings included native species, chosen for their adaptability and benefits to the local ecosystem.
