On  August 15, 2023, NSS volunteers from MES Asmabi College distributed 15 Onam kits containing essential grocery items to bedridden patients residing in the Tsunami Colony and nearby areas around the college. This initiative, conducted in collaboration with the Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Almavu, aimed to bring joy and relief to the patients and their families during the festive season of Onam. Each kit was thoughtfully prepared to include staple food items and traditional Onam treats, ensuring that the beneficiaries could celebrate the festival despite their challenging circumstances.
