On July 27, 2023, a tree plantation drive was successfully conducted at the NSS Participatory Village Tsunamy Colony, under the auspices of SN Puram Panchayat. The initiative aimed to enhance green cover and promote environmental sustainability in the locality. Volunteers from the NSS (National Service Scheme) and local residents actively participated in planting a variety of saplings, including native species suited to the region's ecosystem. The event not only contributed to mitigating climate change but also fostered community engagement and awareness about the importance of preserving natural resources for future generations.
