Department of tourism and hospitality management decided to start a club named Ibn Battuta with an objective to create awareness among the students about tourism and importance of tourism industry in economic growth and to create awareness about the impact of tourism on economic, social, environmental, and cultural aspects in positive as well as negative and the importance of travelling responsibly in the new normal.
