wo day nature camp and workshop was organised for the BMC members, Panchayath governing body members and the MGNREGA women working in restoration at Vazhachal Forest Division on 11 & 12 November 2023.  The workshop was inaugurated by Mr. Manu Sathyan, the Range Forest officer, Charpa Range, on behalf of Ms. R. Lakshmi, DFO, Vazhachal Forest Division, Kerala Forest Department. The technical sessions were handled by Mr. Rajan, DRO, Charpa Range and Dr. Amitha Bachan K.H., Assistant Professor, Research Department of Botany, MES Asmabi College. Ms. Devika M Anilkumar, Rufford and Prakrithi Fellow of CEtC led exposure visits and orientation on reference ecosystems in the low elevation tropical rainforests of Vazhachal.
