The Research Department of English and IQAC of  MES Asmabi College observed  Reading Day, Turning Pages; Igniting Minds on 19th June 2024. Dr Betsy Paul, Professor and Research Director of English, St. Aloysius College inaugurated the event and spoke to the students and teachers about the importance of reading.  College Principal Dr. Reena Mohamed presided over the function, IQAC Coordinator Dr. KH Amita Bachan and Mr. V P Saidalavi, Assistant Professor of History delivered felicitations. Mrs. Jameelathu K A and  Dr. Amitha P. Mani delivered the welcome address and vote of thanks respectively.  The inaugural ceremony, session 1 was followed by a talk ‘The Art of Reading’ by Prof Betsy Paul. She introduced the various kinds of reading and books.
