Mr. Paul M F, Asst. Director of Fisheries, Fisheries Station, Azhikode inaugurated Aquaculture Association on 20/02/2024 and delivered a lecture on ‘Practical Approaches in Hatchery and Farm management’. (10 Am to 12 PM – College Auditorium). Mr. Paul talk on the big responsibilities of Aquaculture professionals, the risks involved in managing a fish hatchery as it involves constant challenges of water quality and feed management and tackling diseases. Cultural programmes were organised and performed by all students of the department in connection with the Inauguration of Aquaculture Association on 20/02/2024 in College Auditorium – 2 PM to 4.30 PM. The various items staged include group song, cinematic dance, mono-act, skits, group dance and light song. Dr. A Biju, Principal delivered presidential address. Dr. Kesavan K, HoD welcomed the gathering. Sri. Shibu A Nair and Sri. Mohammed Areej delivered felicitations. Sri. Sharafas, Association Secretary offered formal vote of thanks. Association inauguration marks the beginning of activities of the students at department level including extra-curricular programmes. The occasion of Association inauguration is the one to gauge the organisational skills of the students.
