The Western Ghats Hornbill Foundation and Research Department of Botany at MES Asmabi College officially inaugurated the seed germination center for threatened tree species. Seedlings of nine threatened (IUCN) tree species were successfully germinated this year to use in the identified restoration sites based on niche profiling and niche modelling.
