The National level Youth Training programe “Youth Lead Transition to A Climate Resilient Development” organized by Kerala Institute on Local Administration (KILA), Government of Kerala  (15-17, September 2023) has selected the Coastal Ecorestoration Program for Climate Resilience of our CEtC, Research and Extension centre of Research Department of Botany MES Asmabi College  as one case study. About 95 participants, selected youth from all states of India came over here to learn and filed visit. The Kaipamangalam Constituency, represented by Mr. Tyson Master, MLA had been selected as the study site in which the ‘the Coastal ecorestoration program’ implemented involving BMC of the Panchayat, MGNREGA women and Kerala State Biodiversity Board with a scientifically sound methodology ensuring NbS and EBA based on International guideline developed form our lab. The case study was presented by Dr. Amitha Bachan K.H., Assistant professor and Research guide, the Principal Investigator of the program.
