Conducted an ideation competition for V semester B.Sc. Aquaculture students on 21/7/2022 – 9.30 – 10.45 AM. Seven  teams participated.  Evaluation panel: Dr. Dhanya P R, Dr. Kesavan K and Sri. Mohammed Areej.  I and II prizes were distributed by Dr. Dhanya P R. Geotagged photos were taken. The following ideas were presented by the participants -  Alisha Ashik  - Edible food wrap, Aiswrya K V - App for Notes, Anjaly Ratheesh - Food Waste Fertiliser, Avaninandha K B- Sound Muffling, Joyce M Raphael - Soap from Sea Weeds, Mohammed Adhil C S  - New methods to assess Aquarium Water Quality, Hassan K Sherif - Biofuels, Anupam Pranay - CFC Control Measures.  After the presentation and question answer sessions, a panel of teachers including Dr.K.Kesavan and Mohammed Areej E. M along with a group of student panelists declared the winners of Ideafest.The first position was secured by Alisha Ashik, a year student. The second and third were obtained by AnjalyRatheesh and Joice M Raphel, respectively. These students were selected for the college-level Ideafest to be conducted in October 2022.
