Field visits and training are a compulsory part of B.Sc. Aquaculture curriculum. 22 students of III B.Sc. Aquaculture visited Regional Shrimp Hatchery Azhikode on 22/12/2022 (2 PM to 5 PM). Dr. Dhanya P R and Sri. Shibu A Nair accompanied the students. During the session, the students had an opportunity to interact with experts in the hatchery, watch the seed production facilities and involved in some of the hatchery practices. In addition to these, the students got a very elaborate demo-based lecture on seed production and larval rearing of fishes and shrimps. Sri. Abdul Jabbar, Fisheries Officer led the training session.
