Malayalam department,  MES Asmabi  College has conducted a one day workshop” Kaimozhi” on 26th July 2023. “KAIMOZHI” is  Basic Indian sign language –an initiative of Thrissur Collectorate under the Sasneham programme.  The workshop was presided over by Dr.Biju,A., Principal,MES Asmabi college.Dr.Jaisy david ,HOD Department of Malayalam & Kaimozhi co ordinator,Vice principal Dr.Reena mohammad and Dr.Ranjith M, HOD,Department of Arabic  also delivered  talk in the workshop.Our Student Volunteers who got training from the Thrissur collectorate initiated the workshop and created an awareness among the students about sign language and its significance for an inclusive world.65 students  attended the training programme which included  the basics of  sign language ,alphabets ,numbers,family and greetings,is a step towards fostering inclusivity and communication for all.
