PG & Research Department of English, MES Asmabi College in connection with the Green Initiatives organized World Environment Day celebrations ‘LITEARTH ‘23’ on 05 June 2023. As part of the program, the renowned Iranian director Majid Majidi’s award-winning movie “The Song of the Sparrows” was screened, as the movie represents and depicts man’s relationship with nature and the social environment. The students of the department also conducted an awareness campaign on this year's environment day motto #beat plastic pollution. The HoD & Vice Principal Dr. Reena Mohamed conveyed an environment day message and inaugurated the function. Program Coordinator Ms. Sabitha M M delivered the vote of thanks.
