World Environment Day is one of the biggest days of recognition for encouraging people worldwide to save and protect our environment from different environmental challenges the world is facing today, the theme of World Environment Day 2023 is “solutions to plastic under the campaign #BeatPlastic Pollution”. World Environment Day is celebrated every 5th of June in our college. It was jointly organized by Department of B.Voc Tourism and Hospitality Management and Green Campus Initiative showcasing and harnessing the multidisciplinary strength of Asmabi College by coming together for a common cause. It was a symbolic fact that environment is everybody's concern and environmental issues necessarily should have inter-sectoral initiative. As a part of Environmental Day Celebration the Department of B.Voc Tourism and Hospitality Management arranged a Drawing competition. The program was co-ordinated by Shafna A S(staff co-ordinator), and Muhammed Irfan P H(Student co-ordinator). The program was conducted on June 5th 2023, 01.30PM – 03.30PM. mostly 20 students were participated in it. And Muhammed Irfan P H won the first prize.
