First year and second year UG students of Psychology along with Lathif Penath, Minsila Hilal, Smt Farhana Nasar K conducted Green Intiative Programme named “Debate: Enviornmental Implications due to fast fashion industry”. The Hod Lathif Penath welcomed the students in Psychology lab. Ms Farhana Nasar, Assistant Professor had informed all the instructions and rules of debate and importance of topic. Programme was conducted around 2.00 pm. After dividing the groups and giving the instructions, the debate was started. Seven groups with 10 students were formed and all the groups dispersed to various sides of the classroom. There were mainly two ideas which are supporting the topic and students who opposing the topic. Each group clearly said their ideas. first group was supporting and explained that any fast fashion should be harm the environment and second group also debated about the implication and how to solve the problem and how to manage the fast fashion wastes. Several opinion were created. those supporting environment should be valid as compared to other. The Debate was completed by 2.45 pm. After giving vote of thanks by Farhana Nasar k the group was dispersed. it was good experience student of students
