Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of progressive India and the glorious history of its people, culture and achievements. As a part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, Psychology department of MES Asmabi college vemballur conducted a Extempore competition on 10th August 2022.The competition started at 11 pm. Welcome speech was done by Lathif Penath Head of Psychology Department and invited Ms Sugaina Ismail to competition..she told about the rules and regulations of competition and given topic ‘ influence of media’. Around 16 students from different departments are participated in the programme. after judgements she explained what to focus while a competition. Three positions are given. First prize is given to Rayyan B.Voc Logistics. Second Prize -Bilal B.Voc FPT and the third Prize - Shehal Bsc Psychology. Also momento was given to Sugaina Miss by Lathif Penath Hod Psychology. The event witnessed active participation from college students celebrating the mark of Independence. The competition concluded with vote of thanks by program coordinator Farhana Nasar.
